The Col. Aquila Hall Chapter will have a chapter meeting on May 16, 2009 at 10 AM at Jerusalem Mill.  They will also have an information and display tent at Jerusalem Mill living history site that same weekend.

From I-95
    * Take the Fallston/Joppatowne Exit 74.
    * Travel north approximately 2 miles on Route 152 (Mountain Road), toward Fallston.
    * Turn left on Jerusalem Road (across from Mountain Branch Golf Course).
    * Travel west on Jerusalem Road approximately 1 mile to the village.

From I-83 and I-70:
    * Take I-695 (Baltimore Beltway Inner Loop) toward Towson / I-95.
    * Travel on I-695 to Whitemarsh Exit 31C, Rt. 43 south (left exit off Beltway).
    * Take Rt. 43 to left on ramp for Belair Road NORTH, from ramp bear right onto Belair Road (U.S. Rt. 1).
    * Travel north through Perry Hall to Kingsville.
    * When entering Kingsville, bear right on Jerusalem Road (just before 2nd traffic light).

The Gen Wm Smallwood Chapter will host the annual Memorial Day Ceremony at Battery Park on Willard Avenue in Bethesda, Maryland at 10:30 am.  There will be a flag raising, patriotic speeches and wreaths will be laid by patriotic organizations. 

The Col. Nicholas Ruxton Moore Annual Meeting will be held at the Valley Inn, Falls Road on Saturday April 4, 2009, libations beginning at 11:30 A.M.

Famous Crab Cake Platter or chopped steak will be featured, preceded by cup of onion soup AU Gratin-- a Valley Inn specialty, with beloved corn muffins and rolls, coffee, tea, and light, but delicious orange or rainbow sherbet for dessert.

Our featured speaker will be compatriot Lou Raborg on the Battle of Brooklyn.

10 and 11 OCT, 2009, The Col. Aquila Hall Chapter will have an information and display tent at Jerusalem Mill living history site. Last fall we gave out over 200 Betsy Ross flag to the children. This year about 1500 Revolutionary War Reenactors will be encamped at this site. This will be a great opportunity to experience camp life and see, hear and feel the cannon and muskets fire in battle.

What: We will hold 09-10 officer elections and have a presentation from the Chestertown Tea Party chapter of the CAR.

John Eager Howard Chapter Meeting

Topic:       Jean was unaware of his Patriot ancestor for most of his life.   He will discuss how he learned of his history, researched and documented.
