Picnic In The Country 2009
Saturday, September 5 at 1 p.m. at Benevola United Methodist Church, 19925 Benevola Church Road, Boonsboro.
Bring the family to enjoy a feast of picnic fare and launch the new DAR year. Proceeds benefit State Regent's Projects. Door prizes, voice items and entertainment will be held in the afternoon.
Reservations are $20 per person for adults, $10 per person for C.A.R. members and children, no charge for children under 6.
The menu includes fried chicken, baked ham, meatballs, baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw, relish tray, potato chips, rolls, cookies and brownies, and ice cream bar.
