Annual George Washington Birthday Luncheon

PLACE:     Towson Golf & Country Club, 12801 Stone Hill Road, Phoenix, MD  21009

DIRECTIONS:    Take Exit 27B off Baltimore Beltway 695. Stay on Dulaney Valley Road past Loch Raven Reservoir cross Loch Raven Bridge, bear right to Stone Hill Road approximately 1 mile on left.  There are two stone pillars at the driveway.

COST:     $25.00 with a choice of Breast of Chicken Stuffed w/Sage Dressing & White Wine Supreme Sauce OR Roasted Pork Loin w/Pan Gravy and Chocolate Mousse Topped w/Whipped Cream

CASH BAR:     Cash Bar starts at 11:30 am, with lunch being served at 12:30 pm

Guest Speaker: Dr. Jennifer Bryan

Dr. Bryan is head of Special Collections and Archives at the Nimitz Library, U.S. Naval Academy, will discuss significant events in Washington's Second Term in the Presidency -  The Jay Treaty and Washington's policy to keep the United States from being drawn into the wars of the French Revolution - preserving the country from 'foreign influence' something he discusses in his Farewell Address which is the most important legacy of Washington's second term.

• War Service Medals will be given out to all Veterans who already submitted their proofs by December 31. Please attend to receive in person.
  

• MD 400 Certificates and pins will be issued to those who qualify. Additional awards to deserving members of the DAR may also be issued .Please attend to receive in person.
