He is unquestionably the top authority on the 29th Division from D-Day to the end of the war. He is an author (3 books on the Normandy Campaign), Command Historian for Joint Forces Command, MDNG, Executive Director of the Maryland Military Historical Society, Director of the Maryland Museum of Military History, and a member of the Maryland Military Monuments Commission.
