You are invited to attend a re-enactment at the Annapolis Capitol on Tuesday Dec. 23rd at noon.

Event: Re-enactment of George Washington's resignation in the Maryland State House.
Location: The Old Senate Chamber, the scene of the event will be open for a window of about five hours (10:00am - 3:00pm) with readings of the address by GW on the hour.

At noon the biggest event will occur. A small group will represent the congress and another small group representing the noteworthies will stage an event at 12:00 pm lasting about 20 minutes.

The entire State House has been closed for major work since the end of the legislative session in early April 2008, but the managers have opened it up for this event.

If you can attend it will be a great opportunity to show SAR support. If you have any questions, you can reach D.L. Smith on cell at 410-271-0184.  He is part of a Historic Walking Tour Co-Web site at http://capitalcitycolonials.com.
